Mark, ivsEdits will be supported under Windows 2000, Windows XP 32 and Windows Vista 32/64. Now we are testing it under windows XP service pack 2. Anyway it runs fine also under Windows Vista installed on the laptop. WindowsXP 64 will be not supported for its limited diffusion and very poor support from Microsoft (It is an abandoned project). I'm confident to can offer also the adequate support for ReactOS when its development will reach an acceptable DirectX compatibility. Best Regards

I see that your system can either by itself on a laptop or desktop, or you can install it on either a Harris HD altitude card? and also Blackmagic cards and AJA cards. If you need to be able to us HVD as well as HD which do you recommend for IVS. Also if you where to do the multipul ingest /eidt which is the best card. And finally will the released software have batch capture with shot detect automaticaly built in eg it will make a new gallery clip at the end of each shoot coming in off of tape without having to have gone through the tape once to get the in out points |

Hi Mark, you can install it on the same VHD workstation if you desire, but there are no plans to support the Altitude card due to the lack of a dedicated SDK from Harris. Black Magic cards are already suppported, Aja are planned but they still don't provide a suitable SDK (for our tasks). We know that Aja is working on it. For this reason, for multiple ingesting you can use Black Magic Desing and Firewire OHCI cards. The current software release already supports the auto clip splitting at the end of each shoot, and it is more powerful than your request. It is able to split not only tape shots, but live shoots too. Best Regards,

Hi Mark, I forgot to specify another OEM that ivsEdits could support; Deltacast. Deltacast produces I/O SDI/ASI cards with up to 4 Inputs per card. Best Regards,
