Posted - 29/06/2010 : 03:57:53 I am starting to integrate ivsEdits into my workflow. As a long time Velocity user I am used to using Inscriber for simple graphics. I have never been a big fan of Cayman Graphics! Is there any way of installing Inscriber into ivsEdits? Are there any plans to integrate Inscriber- and if so would it work on a 64 bit system as well as 32?
Thanks!!!!!!! |

Posted - 28/11/2010 : 17:58:40 Richard, I've gone down this path myself! I have many custom text animations built in Inscriber TitleMotion Pro that I would LOVE to be able to use with IVSedits. As Paolo explained, Inscriber is not an option. It is a discontinued product by Leitch, and purchased in bulk by Harris. Cayman is OK for basic titles, but not for animation. For that you may wish to consider After Effects. Animated Titles is only a small part of AE, but it has a future and there are many resources. IVS has plug-ins that will allow you to use AE files within IVSEdits.

Posted - 29/06/2010 : 11:38:40 Hello Richard, when we started developing ivsEdits we tried to get an agreement with Harris to bundle their CG application with ivsEdits or to support their files. It was not possible, but I think that when you learn Power CG (few minutes), it can become faster than Inscriber. According Harris, Titlemotion is a discontinued product, so I don't think in the future there will be support for it into ivsEdits.
Best Regards,
Paolo
