Hi all, I was supplied with some video that has only one track of audio, it is a AVI file. How can I split the audio, delete the second track and duplicate it to create two tracks of audio.

cheers

Richard

Duplicate the clip, select it and hit F8 (It will delete the video), please link the new audio clip to the Source AV clip and later with panning please move the audio on the desired channel (Left/Right/custom balanced)

The second approach could be to use the panning to balance (placing it in the middle) on the single audio track and to increase the audio volume to restore the levels (+9dB using the Volume line). << this approach not doubles the HDD usage as the first one>>
