in SD the max bit rate is 150 Mbits (158Mbits is uncompressed)--- in HD 1100Mbits. Please note that Harris software can manage only files created with Legacy DPS check.

Ok, I found it easy enough and it seems to work ok. I did find that on camprison, the DPS leaves little artifacts around edges though. And if I turn the MB rate up over 180, Fusion crashes. Just thought you might like to know. Very handy though.

Richard,

what Fusion version are you using?
We released 32/64bit Fusion plugins to extend DPS I/O with Fusion 5.3 and 6 without to install any Harris software. it is available as free download for all IVS customers. We made a similar plugin for AE CS 4 too.

Thaks Steven, yes I have posted on the Fusion forum, I'll see if someone has an ide for that. It would b a good thing for IVS to add as a plugin, as that is their format of choise, and it would be nice to be able to write directly to that format without having to do import conversions all the time.

Cheers

Hmmm, Odd.

There was a plugin that allowed reading and I think writing of dps files, but I'm not sure that is what you want. I would shoot Eyeon an e-mail, they might have an answer.

I believe you can render .dps files directly to a hard drive without the need for the dps card. Just set the file type to dps media files (or whatever) in the saver.
