Hi

what driver are you searching?

If you need build 135, it is available in this site in italian download section DOWNLOAD->AGGIORNAMENTI->VELOCITYR+

Hi

I not understand well, but I can report that we have customers that are using build248 with full success also with Reality REV3 (oldest of yours).

Best Regards

Hi,
the more the drives connected to the SCSI chain, the more problems you'll get (especially during optimizations).
I suggest you to not to connect so many drives. Reality card has a built in UWSCSI 40 controller. This standard limites the max lenght of the cables in following way. The more drives you add, the shorter the cable must be.
Are you sure you didn't exceded UW SCSI40 specifications?
To connect so many drives I suggest you to use a very short cable with 2 or 3 mobile racks, and to swap drives when you need them.
Best Regards,

Paolo

hi,
this board iz OLD ( rev.4 or rev.8 I am not sure) i have on tine that problem (not whit this PC) and after 3 month. from DPS told my: we dont test this driver whit this OLD board... 248 is last driver, and i am sure that id does'n test whit old bord like mine. And for optimisation... i use this software 5 years and i never have problems whit that ( on two other station )..

how can i test SCSI controler of board and hdd's ?

Hi niki_niki,

Your trouble could be due to two factors

1)Drivers 246
2)Optimizations

First, you should update drivers up to build 248 in Full Installation mode. the drivers build 246 is famous for the random dps files corruption. Later, You should try to repair some files using DpsdiskTool that you can download from Leitch site or IVS site in italian download section. Before to continue to create/capture other dps files it is preferable that you format all drives, because often this troubles is like a virus, progressively attacks also still right files.

yes, your trouble could be due also to the optimizations, some customers also using the latest drivers build 248 and optimizing Dps drives reported the same trouble. Waiting, to understand the reason of this problem, I suggest to all Reality users to try the DPS drives optimization less as possible.

I suggest also to chain to reality scsi controller a max number of 4 drives at time. Better if you connect 2 Drives at time. The SCSI cable should be shorter as possible.

Best Regards
